2008
Steve found his passion in real estate and began his career at RE/MAX Southeast, earning Rookie of the Year.
2011
Steve purchased ownership in Keller Williams Action Realty in Castle Rock, where The Thayer Group has been since.
2012+
Susan joined full-time shortly after, as team production grew to average more than $20M per year.
2022
Cooper joined full-time following graduation, after working part-time through college.
2023
The team added its first “non-Thayer” agent and expanded into the home staging industry to complement the core business.

Do you have a minimum experience requirement?

No. We care more about character, coachability, and work ethic. If you are early in your career but serious, reach out.

Is this a salaried position?

Real estate is performance-based. Most roles are independent contractor agent opportunities designed for long-term growth, supported by team systems and standards.

What happens after I reach out?

If it looks like there is potential alignment, we will set a short intro call, then a deeper conversation about goals, fit, and next steps.

What if I do not want to switch teams immediately?

That is fine. We are open to early conversations and relationship building. Timing matters less than fit.
