Susan Thayer was my realtor for the purchase of a beautiful home in Denver’s LoHi district, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From our first contact, I felt completely at ease. As a first-time home buyer in Castle Rock, I wanted to make sure I chose the right realtor. After calling around to multiple agencies, I found that many just wanted to get me under contract quickly — they weren't transparent and felt more transactional than supportive, which isn't what I was looking for as a first-time buyer. After those conversations and further research, I decided to go local with a family-owned business with experience. I called the Thayer Group on a Saturday morning around 7 a.m. and received an immediate response from Susan about a house I wanted to see that weekend. Susan and her husband, Steve, scheduled a walk through of the property the very next day, and by 4 p.m. that Sunday, we were putting in an offer.We were able to secure the house through multiple rounds of negotiation at approximately 3% under asking by that Monday — especially impressive given that the home had been on the market throughout 2025 at $50K above its current 2026 re-listing price.
