As a first-time home buyer in Castle Rock, I wanted to make sure I chose the right realtor. After calling around to multiple agencies, I found that many just wanted to get me under contract quickly — they weren't transparent and felt more transactional than supportive, which isn't what I was looking for as a first-time buyer. We had the most wonderful homebuying experience imaginable working with the Thayer Group. Steve and Susan (and Cooper!) were there for us every step of the way and honestly made it an enjoyable experience. I thought that buying a home would be the ultimate stress point, but it was actually FUN with these guys. We were buying from out of state, which could have made it more difficult, but their communication and accessibility made it a breeze. They were extremely diligent from the start of the search, through the narrowing down of possibilities, all through the negotiations, inspections, and final paperwork. Most importantly though, they made us and our house search feel important in an industry where most realtors make you feel like a number in the bottom line of their yearly volume. We have no way of ever thanking the Thayer Group enough for all they did for us. We landed in the perfect home and are so happy.
