Susan Thayer was my realtor for the purchase of a beautiful home in Denver’s LoHi district, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From our first contact, I felt completely at ease. She worked diligently with my daughter and me even before we arrived in Denver, preparing an excellent list of properties for the few days we were in town. She picked us up promptly from our vacation rental and was incredibly knowledgeable, showing us all the neighborhoods we were interested in. We eventually settled on a property that was a perfect fit for us, and she walked us through every step of the process. Her husband, Steve, and son, Cooper, were also part of the team; they guided us through determining the right offer price, making the entire experience feel effortless. They provided great recommendations for home inspectors and closing agents, and the whole family went above and beyond—they even got us measurements we needed before closing. The entire process was seamless, and I truly enjoyed getting to know Susan and Steve. We found the perfect agent and had the support of their whole family throughout the purchase. We found our "gem," and it was such a pleasure to be in such competent hands. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a home!

Cooper and the team took great care of my good friends who I referred to them from here in Virginia, and found them a wonderful home at a great price in the perfect timing that they wanted. As a first-time home buyer in Castle Rock, I wanted to make sure I chose the right realtor. After calling around to multiple agencies, I found that many just wanted to get me under contract quickly — they weren't transparent and felt more transactional than supportive, which isn't what I was looking for as a first-time buyer. After those conversations and further research, I decided to go local with a family-owned business with experience. I called the Thayer Group on a Saturday morning around 7 a.m. and received an immediate response from Susan about a house I wanted to see that weekend. Susan and her husband, Steve, scheduled a walk through of the property the very next day, and by 4 p.m. that Sunday, we were putting in an offer.We were able to secure the house through multiple rounds of negotiation at approximately 3% under asking by that Monday — especially impressive given that the home had been on the market throughout 2025 at $50K above its current 2026 re-listing price. Throughout the entire process, Steve took the time to walk us through every step as first-time home buyers, investing hours over the phone and in person to help us meet contract deadlines and feel confident doing so. We had the most wonderful homebuying experience imaginable working with the Thayer Group. Steve and Susan (and Cooper!) were there for us every step of the way and honestly made it an enjoyable experience. I thought that buying a home would be the ultimate stress point, but it was actually FUN with these guys. We were buying from out of state, which could have made it more difficult, but their communication and accessibility made it a breeze.
